This plant is found growing in the understory of wet tropical forests, typically on trees or other vertical surfaces.

Like many Philodendron species, P. paloraense is known for its ability to purify the air. It can remove toxins like formaldehyde, benzene, and xylene from indoor environments, making it a great choice for a houseplant.

Philodendron paloraense can be propagated via stem cuttings, which should be taken from healthy, mature stems and rooted in a well-draining soil mix.

When growing P. paloraense, it's important to provide it with bright, indirect light and consistently moist but well-draining soil. It prefers temperatures between 18-24°C (64-75°F) and high humidity levels.

While Philodendron paloraense is not considered toxic to humans, it should be kept away from pets and small children, as ingestion of the leaves can cause digestive upset.
