We are thrilled to offer one of the rarest plants in the world, Philodendron spitirus sancti. This plant is nearly extinct in its natural habitat and you have a chane to own one right here. This plant was rooted in its starter pod and planted out into our aroid mix that offeres good drainage and moisture retention. As this plant matures, the back of the leaves will turn to a beautiful red color. The leaves become very slender and long, this really is a statement plant.
Care: intermediate/warm tropical conditions (60-85F) with bright filtered light. Spiritus Sancti prefers high humidity and a good draining mix to thrive. If you can grow other philos and monstera you'll have no problem with this one. Apply a slow release fertilizer such as a 3-1-2 or 1-1-1 at the recommended rate.
Do not disturb the roots for at least 30 days after receipt (no repotting).
