Often confused with Monstera adansonii, this extremely rare M. obliqua variety is legendary for its paper-thin, lace-like leaves with up to 90% fenestration—more hole than leaf! Its delicate, slow-growing vines and translucent foliage make it a holy grail for collectors.
Care Guide
Light: Bright indirect light (no direct sun—scorches easily)
Water: Keep lightly moist (never soggy; prone to root rot)
Soil: Sphagnum moss or chunky aroid mix (orchid bark + perlite + charcoal)
Humidity: 80%+ mandatory (terrarium or greenhouse ideal)
Temperature: 70–85°F (21–29°C) (cold-sensitive)
Support: Moss pole or trellis for climbing
