Family-Owned & Operated

Rare plants, grown with intention.

Plantamani is a family-owned rare tropical plant business based in Winter Springs, Florida. We started with a single goal: to make the rarest, most extraordinary plants accessible to collectors and growers who share our obsession.

How it started

My name is Cal, and I built Plantamani from the ground up with one thing in mind: bringing genuinely rare tropical plants to people who love them as much as I do. This wasn't a hobby that accidentally became a business — it was always the plan. I wanted to create something that didn't exist yet: a source you could actually trust for exotic aroids, uncommon foliage, and the kind of plants you'd otherwise spend months hunting down.

What started as a deep personal passion for rare tropicals turned into a fully licensed, USDA-certified operation based right here in Central Florida. Every plant that leaves our hands has been sourced, grown, or propagated with care. We work directly with growers, import tissue culture, and propagate our own stock — because controlling the supply chain is the only way to guarantee quality.

Direct sourcing

We buy direct from specialty growers worldwide, so you get healthier plants and better prices.

Tissue culture

We work with tissue culture labs to offer clean, disease-free stock of the rarest cultivars available.

Direct import

USDA-certified and permitted to import rare tropicals — we go to the source so you don't have to.

Own propagation

Many plants in our shop were propagated in-house, giving you stock that's been acclimated and cared for from the start.

A family business, through and through

Plantamani is run by our family, for plant families. That means you're never dealing with a warehouse operation or a faceless dropshipper. When you reach out with a question, you're talking to the people who hand-packed your order and actually care whether your new Anthurium thrives.

We take the same hands-on approach to everything we do — from how we source and acclimate plants, to the care guides we write, to the way we pack for live arrival. Small enough to care deeply. Experienced enough to do it right.
