Anthurium Raven Soul 'Narrow'
Anthurium crystallinum × Anthurium luxurians (narrow form)

A narrow-leaved selection of the Raven Soul hybrid, pairing the crystalline silver venation of A. crystallinum with the deeply bullate, lacquer-glossy quilted surface of A. luxurians. In this cross the luxurians influence tends to dominate the phenotype — dark, near-black leaves with a three-dimensional puckered surface overlaid with diffused silver iridescence and venation. The narrow form produces more elongated, slender leaves than the standard cross. New leaves emerge in warm bronze tones before maturing to the deep, dark surface of the adult leaf.

• Light: Bright but soft indirect light maintains the silver iridescence and protects the dark bullate surface from bleaching. Avoid direct sun.

• Soil: Very open, chunky epiphytic mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir; the luxurians lineage is particularly prone to root rot in waterlogged conditions. Excellent drainage essential.

• Temperature/Humidity: Warm temperatures between 65-80°F; high humidity of 70-85% is essential for maintaining the glossy bullate surface and clean leaf emergence.

• Watering: Keep consistently but lightly moist — allow only the top inch to approach dryness between waterings. Never waterlog; never allow to dry out fully.

• Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer supplemented with calcium every 4-6 weeks during active growth; dilute to half strength. Reduce in winter.
