A hybrid that brings together two species with very different but highly complementary leaf characters, the Zamora Queen crosses Anthurium marmoratum — a broad, velvety species known for its wide, ribbed, dark green foliage with a slightly corrugated texture — with the legendary Anthurium warocqueanum, the Queen Anthurium whose elongated, pendulous, deeply velvety leaves are among the most dramatic in the genus. The result inherits the dark green velvety surface and prominent venation from the warocqueanum parent, tempered by the broader, wider leaf shape and subtle textural ribbing from marmoratum — producing a leaf that reads like a wider, more substantial version of the Queen with added structural depth. 

As a hybrid of two epiphytic species, this plant demands an open, breathable medium — a chunky mix of coarse orchid bark, perlite, and sphagnum or 100% sphagnum moss — and should never sit in waterlogged conditions. Provide bright indirect light to support healthy leaf development and the deepest green coloration; 1-2 hours of gentle morning sun can enhance veining definition. Keep the medium consistently and evenly moist, watering when the top inch of moss or bark feels dry. High humidity of 70%+ is essential — the long, broad leaf blades are particularly prone to crispy margins in dry air below 50%. Maintain warm temperatures between 65-82°F away from cold drafts. Toxic to humans and pets if ingested.
