Philodendron Thai Sunrise 

A rare hybrid cultivar admired for its striking variegation — elongated, lance-like leaves featuring bright lime to golden-yellow centers contrasted by deep green margins, creating a vivid, sunrise-like effect. New growth emerges in particularly bright golden-yellow to chartreuse tones. A climbing hemiepiphyte that benefits from a coco pole or support, with relatively stable variegation that can occasionally revert. Due to natural variation, color and variegation differ between individual plants.

• Light: Bright indirect light is essential to maintain the variegation; some gentle morning sun is tolerated. Avoid direct midday sun which scorches the leaves, and low light which causes the variegation to fade and revert to green.

• Soil: Loose, well-draining aroid mix of potting soil, perlite or pumice, orchid bark, and sphagnum moss; rich in organic matter. Never waterlogged.

• Temperature/Humidity: Warm temperatures between 65-85°F; protect from drafts and cold below 60°F. Moderate to high humidity of 60-80% supports the best growth and most vivid variegation.

• Watering: Water when the top 1-2" of soil is dry — keep evenly moist but never soggy. Sensitive to overwatering and root rot; allow excess to drain freely.

• Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer monthly during active growth; reduce in winter.
