A variegated hybrid combining Philodendron tortum — the Amazonian species with radically dissected, skeletal, feather-like leaves — with Philodendron mayoi, the Brazilian climber known for its deeply pinnately lobed, palm-like foliage. The cross integrates the two lobing systems into deeply divided, finely segmented leaves, here overlaid with cream to yellow variegation in sectors and marbling, each leaf uniquely patterned. A climber that develops larger, more dramatically dissected leaves with vertical support. Variegation is unpredictable across successive leaves and slower-growing than the standard form.

• Light: Bright indirect light is essential for maintaining the variegation — the cream and yellow sectors require good light, and insufficient light causes reversion toward green. Avoid direct sun which scorches the lighter sectors.
• Soil: Very open, chunky aroid mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir; the fine dissected leaf structure is correlated with sensitivity to root rot — excellent drainage essential. Never waterlogged.
• Temperature/Humidity: Warm temperatures between 65-82°F; humidity of 60-70% supports the cleanest leaf emergence and best color.
• Watering: Allow the top 2" of medium to approach dryness between waterings; water thoroughly and drain completely. Never waterlog.
• Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4 weeks during active growth; consistent feeding supports growth across the reduced-chlorophyll sectors. Reduce in winter.
