Variegated Money Tree Albo Pachira
A variegated form of the Money Tree — a tropical wetland tree native to Central and South America, valued as an easy-care houseplant and, in feng shui tradition, a symbol of luck and prosperity. It features glossy, palmate leaves of five to nine lance-shaped leaflets fanning out like an open hand, here marked with bold white to cream albo variegation splashed and sectored across the green. Often sold with several trunks braided together for a decorative tree form. More forgiving than most variegated plants, retaining much of the standard money tree's ease of care.

Light: Bright indirect light is essential for maintaining the white variegation; the chlorophyll-free sectors need good light to sustain the plant, and low light dulls the coloration and reduces vigor. Avoid direct sun which scorches the white sectors.

Soil: Well-draining potting mix rich in organic matter with added perlite; slightly acidic to neutral pH. Never waterlogged.

Temperature/Humidity: Warm temperatures between 65-80°F, tolerating brief dips to 50°F; moderate humidity of 40-50%+ supports the best growth and prevents dry leaf tips.

Watering: Allow the top 1-2" of soil to dry between waterings — the stout trunk stores water, making this more susceptible to overwatering than underwatering. Never allow it to sit in standing water.

Fertilizer: Feed monthly during the growing season with a balanced fertilizer diluted to half strength; reduce or stop in fall and winter.
NOTE: **Not all plants will ship with majority-white leaves** White growth can be triggered by pruning the apical growth, the emergent leaves will be all white.

Beautiful and arrived on time
It arrived later than anticipated but the seller was the one who helped me contact courier service to prevent further delay. Despite traveling for an extra week than it should have, the plant arrived in great condition- a testament to the way the seller packaged the item- and is now currently sitting in my plant room, clean and watered.
Despite UPS seemingly taking offense at the fragile, live plant, and this end up stickers, the plant arrived intact with no damage. The box was really beat up, but the plant was so well packaged that the plant was unaffected. It is stunning and much taller than expected. My friend loved it.

Did not come with the white leaves. Most of mine were green leaves. I was expecting to have more white leaves. Reached out to seller and they mentioned that if I give it a lot of light, it will grow more white leaves. So far still no white leaves.. after one month. Hopefully I will see some white leaves.
