All orders with cold protection will ship with 96hr warmers and insulation.

Standard shipping is UPS Ground or USPS Ground Advantage (5-10 business days) we suggest upgrading at checkout to 2 day or Overnight if you are experiencing extreme weather. These are the only 2 services which reliably protect plants in winter. 

'3 day' upgrade will be 3 day UPS or USPS Priority mail if you are located in HI/PR/GU/AK.

Orders without LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE are shipped at buyer's risk. Orders declining the Live Arrival Guarantee will not be considered for replacement due to cold  or heat damage, delay, or loss of any kind (issues beyond our control) and are shipped at the buyer's risk. Buyer understand that delays by the carrier and exposure to extreme temperatures are entirely beyond seller's control and therefore not covered by the seller.

COLD WEATHER PROTECTION: 
Insulation and heat pack only - NOT A LIVE GUARANTEE. This add-on is non-refundable for any reason. This does NOT entitle the buyer to a replacement for delay or loss (see guarantee below).

LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE: 
Heat pack included. Entitles eligible customers to a replacement/shop credit when certain conditions are met. This add-on is non-refundable for any reason. Replacement or credit only, no refunds. Replacement value shall not exceed $300 per order total.

To qualify for replacement:
* Package must be brought inside immediately at time of delivery.
* Guarantee covers dead on arrival plants only - this guarantee does not include shipping stress, cosmetic damage/stress, delay, etc. 
* Proof must be submitted via messages immediately on arrival (within 6 hours of confirmed delivery) - No exceptions
* Minimum  3 pictures of entire order including the packaging and plants. 
* Do not alter the plants in any way (no repotting, no pruning, please) and do not dispose of any of the packaging. 
* Plants advertised as "rescue/rehab" are not eligible for replacement

Due to extreme weather conditions, we reserve the right to hold your order until favorable shipping conditions present themselves. We never want to ship an order which would be likely to suffer damage or die in transit.

Winter Specific Advisory:
Heat packs have a finite heating time (advertised 96 hrs) and may arrive cold. Plants are primarily protected by the thermal insulation. 

Heat packs are not effective in below-freezing conditions and will arrive cold. Buyers should consider ordering when extreme weather has subsided.

INSPECTION
Claims must be submitted in writing within 24 hours and include a minimum of 3 pictures showing the full plant to help us assist you. Do not modify your plant in any way (do not prune, re-pot, dispose of the plant, etc). Do not discard any packaging until after we have reviewed your claim. All packaging must be retained (Carrier insurance claims will require the original packaging and carrier will deny claims without packaging to inspect).
