Epipremnum Giganteum Marble Variegated

A climbing aroid prized for its oversized, elongated foliage and impressive mature scale — a true "giant" that produces massive lance-shaped leaves reaching up to 24 inches under optimal conditions, far larger than common pothos. The thick, substantial leaves have a deep green base marbled with creamy white, mint green, and silvery tones, and the variegation is considered relatively stable as the plant grows. A vigorous climber that develops a woody stem with age and may begin to develop fenestrations with maturity and vertical support.

• Light: Bright indirect light is essential — the variegated sectors lack chlorophyll and need good light to maintain color and prevent reversion. Avoid direct sun which scorches the foliage; too little light slows growth and fades variegation.

• Soil: Well-draining aroid mix rich in organic matter — orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir. Never waterlogged.

• Temperature/Humidity: Warm, stable temperatures between 60-85°F; humidity of 60%+ supports the best growth, though it adapts reasonably to average household humidity. Protect from drastic temperature swings.

• Watering: Allow the top half of the medium to dry between waterings — drought-tolerant and more susceptible to overwatering than underwatering. Water thoroughly and drain completely; never waterlog.

• Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer at half strength monthly during active growth; reduce or stop in fall and winter.
