A striking epiphytic species from Central America, Anthurium friedrichsthalii is known for its long, narrow, ribbon-like leaves that elegantly cascade downward, often reaching 4-6 feet in length when mature. The foliage has a semi-glossy texture with prominent midribs, creating a graceful, flowing appearance perfect for hanging displays or mounted setups.
Light: Medium to bright indirect light (avoid direct sun)
Water: Keep evenly moist (water when top 1" of moss/bark feels dry)
Soil: Epiphytic mix (sphagnum moss + orchid bark + perlite + charcoal)
Humidity: 70%+ ideal (below 50% may cause crispy edges)
