This spectacular climber features elongated, velvety leaves with a lanceolate shape that emerge bronze before maturing to deep green with striking gold-yellow veins. The mature leaves develop a dramatic, almost iridescent appearance, earning its "Black Gold" nickname. It's a vigorous grower that produces increasingly larger leaves when given proper support.
Light: Bright indirect light (avoid direct sun)
Water: Keep soil slightly moist; let top 1-2" dry
Humidity: 60-80% for best growth
Soil: Well-draining aroid mix (orchid bark/perlite/peat)
Temp: 65-85°F (18-29°C)
Fertilizer: Monthly diluted liquid fertilizer (spring-summer)
Note: Requires moss pole for optimal leaf size. Toxic if ingested. Moss pole sold separate.
