Light
- Prefers low to medium indirect light.
- Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves.
Watering
- Water when the top inch of soil feels dry.
- Ensure the pot has good drainage to prevent root rot.
- Reduce watering during cooler months.
Humidity & Temperature
- Thrives in moderate to high humidity.
- Ideal temperature range: 65–80°F.
- Keep away from cold drafts and sudden temperature changes.
Soil
- Use a well-draining potting mix, such as one with peat and perlite.
- Avoid heavy soils that retain too much water.
Fertilizer
- Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4–6 weeks during spring and summer.
- Pause or reduce feeding in fall and winter.
Maintenance
- Wipe leaves occasionally to remove dust.
- Prune yellow or damaged leaves to encourage new growth.
- Repot every 2–3 years or when roots outgrow the container.
Pests & Problems
- Generally resistant, but may attract spider mites, mealybugs, or aphids.
