Philodendron Emerald King
A self-heading erubescens-type hybrid grown for its broad, glossy, deep emerald-green leaves carried on an upright, clumping habit. Unlike climbing philodendrons, it forms a dense, bushy plant from a central crown and requires no moss pole. A vigorous, adaptable, and forgiving cultivar that tolerates a wider range of conditions than many collector philodendrons.

Light: Bright indirect light supports the glossiest, fullest foliage; tolerates moderate light well. Avoid direct harsh sun.

Soil: Chunky, well-draining aroid mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir in a wide pot; excellent drainage essential. Never waterlogged.

Temperature/Humidity: Warm temperatures between 65-80°F; humidity of 60-70% supports the best growth, though it tolerates average household humidity well.

Watering: Allow the top 1-2" of medium to dry between waterings; water thoroughly and drain completely. Never waterlog.

Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4 weeks during active growth; reduce in winter.
