Philodendron Pink Princess Marble Galaxy 

A selectively bred development of the classic Pink Princess, the Marble Galaxy takes the already captivating erubescens chimeric variegation and intensifies and diversifies it dramatically — shifting from the standard PPP's characteristic large, bold pink sectors toward a more complex, multi-tonal marbling where light pink, hot pink, and creamy white are swirled, speckled, and scattered across the dark green canvas in patterns that genuinely resemble a galaxy viewed through a telescope. Where the original Pink Princess tends to produce larger, more defined zones of solid pink against solid dark green, the Marble Galaxy distributes its variegation more diffusely and intricately, with smaller splashes, specks, and star-like spattering mingling with broader marbled sectors — no two leaves identical and the overall effect considerably more complex and layered than the parent form. New leaves emerge with vivid deep pink variegation before hardening off to a slightly lighter but still definitively pink mature tone, maintaining excellent color expression through the leaf's lifespan. Like all erubescens chimeric variants it is a vining climber of the Princess lineage, sharing the same parentage and fundamental growth character as the PPP while offering a distinctly different and arguably more visually elaborate variegation expression.

As with all chimeric Pink Princess variants, bright indirect light is critical — it is the single most important factor in maintaining the complexity and vibrancy of the marbled variegation; insufficient light pushes new growth toward predominantly green leaves with reduced and duller coloring. A firm moss pole or trellis is essential for encouraging mature leaf size and the most fully expressed marbling pattern. Water when the top 1-2" of medium is dry, ensuring excellent drainage in a chunky aroid mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir. Humidity of 60-70% supports clean, healthy leaf emergence and reduces browning of the lighter variegated sectors. Maintain warm temperatures between 65-85°F away from cold drafts. Toxic to humans and pets if ingested.
