A variegated cultivar within the Philodendron 'Congo' hybrid group — self-heading cultivated hybrids grown for their large, glossy, broadly ovate leaves and upright, bushing growth habit. The mint variegated form expresses soft mint-green to pale lime sectors and marbling against the deep, glossy emerald-green leaf surface — a cool-toned variegation that varies unpredictably across successive leaves. As a self-heading hybrid it grows upright from a central crown without climbing and requires no moss pole.

• Light: Bright indirect light for the best variegation expression — the mint sectors benefit from consistent good light to stay vivid rather than fading or reverting. Avoid direct sun which scorches the lighter sectors.

• Soil: Chunky, well-draining aroid mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir in a wide pot; excellent drainage essential. Never waterlogged.

• Temperature/Humidity: Warm temperatures between 65-82°F; humidity of 50-65% suits it well — more tolerant of average household humidity than many collector aroids.

• Watering: Allow the top 1-2" of medium to dry between waterings; water thoroughly and drain completely. Never waterlog.

• Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4 weeks during active growth; reduce in winter.
