A minimalist stunner, Anthurium forgetii enchants with its velvety, teardrop-shaped leaves that lack the typical leaf veins (lobes) found in other Anthuriums. Its smooth, matte foliage emerges a luminous lime-green before deepening to a rich emerald, creating a striking contrast against its tiny, hidden inflorescences. A must-have for rare aroid collectors!
Light: Medium to bright indirect light (avoid direct sun—scorches delicate leaves).
Water: Let the top 1–2 inches dry out; prefers high humidity (>70%).
Soil: Airy epiphytic mix (orchid bark + perlite + sphagnum moss + charcoal).
Humidity: 70%+ ideal (crispy edges = low humidity; terrariums work great).
Temperature: 65–80°F (18–27°C); avoid cold drafts.
Growth: Slow to moderate; mature leaves span 6–10 inches.
