Philodendron Green Sky

Philodendron 'Green Sky' is grown for the striking quality of its elongated, lance-shaped leaves. It retains the climbing growth habit typical of its lineage, and as the plant ascends a support structure the leaves develop progressively in size and character.

A moss pole or trellis is recommended to encourage the plant's natural vining expression. It performs best in moderate to bright indirect light; 2-3 hours of gentle morning sun can boost growth, but avoid harsh afternoon rays. Water when the top 2-3" of medium has dried out — the plant appreciates humidity but despises soggy soil, making excellent drainage non-negotiable. Provide a chunky epiphytic mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir. Humidity of 60-80%+ is ideal, with greenhouse or cabinet conditions bringing the best results; below 60% may cause crispy leaf margins. Maintain warm temperatures between 68-85°F and keep above 60°F at all times. Toxic to humans and pets if ingested.
