Philodendron Jungle Boogie Pink Variegated

A variegated form of Philodendron 'Jungle Boogie' (P. wendlandii × P. tortum 'Henderson's Pride') — the cultivar known for its long, narrow, deeply sawtooth-edged, undulating strappy leaves. The variegated form, closely related to the more familiar Ring of Fire, overlays the distinctive serrated leaves with cream, yellow, and occasional orange variegation. A self-heading to semi-climbing aroid producing leaves up to several feet long at maturity, with variegation that varies unpredictably across leaves.

• Light: Bright indirect light is important for maintaining the variegation; insufficient light dulls the color and slows growth. Avoid direct sun which scorches the lighter sectors.

• Soil: Chunky, well-draining aroid mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir; excellent drainage essential. Never waterlogged.

• Temperature/Humidity: Warm temperatures between 65-85°F; humidity of 60%+ supports the best growth and cleanest leaf emergence, though it acclimates to average household humidity.

• Watering: Allow the top 1/3 to 1/2 of the medium to dry between waterings; water thoroughly and drain completely. Never waterlog.

• Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2-4 weeks during active growth; reduce strength and frequency in winter.
