Anthurium Pallidiflorum
A pendant strap-leaf anthurium native to the cloud forests of Ecuador and Colombia, growing as an epiphyte in the perpetually moist montane understory. Grown for its extraordinarily long, narrow, strap-like velvet leaves that hang freely and can reach several feet in length while remaining only a few inches wide. An elevated or hanging position is essential to allow the leaves to hang to their full length without folding or coiling.

Light: Bright to moderate indirect light; protect the velvet surface from direct harsh sun which bleaches and damages the texture.

Soil: Chunky, open epiphytic mix of orchid bark, perlite, and coco coir with excellent drainage; never waterlogged.

Temperature/Humidity: Warm temperatures between 64-80°F; high humidity of 70-80% is essential for the velvet surface quality and cleanest leaf emergence.

Watering: Keep consistently but lightly moist — allow only the top inch to approach dryness between waterings. Never waterlog; never allow to dry out fully.

Fertilizer: Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during active growth; dilute to half strength. Reduce in winter.

Absolutely Stunning Plant & Exceptional Quality!
I ordered the extra large Anthurium pallidiforme, and it completely exceeded my expectations! It arrived perfectly packaged and in fantastic condition — not a single blemish. The leaf alone is well over a foot long (not even counting the stem!), with a deep, rich green color and the most incredible velvet texture. It’s truly breathtaking in person.
I’ve had it for a few days now, and it’s already settling in beautifully. I haven’t repotted it yet since I’m letting it acclimate, but it’s clearly a strong and healthy plant. It’s easily become one of my absolute favorites in my collection.

Took a while to ship ans UPS absolutely crushed the box, it was almost flattened. The plastic pot was split in half. I bought the 4"- next size up from the juvenile, but this is really small, I think I got sent the juvenile, compared to photos and description. The longest leaf is 5" long & 2 leaves are cut. I've wanted this anthurium for a while and after searching, finally chose to buy here. I still love it, but was expecting much more.
Plant came in great condition. No broken/damaged leaves. Came with a new leaf on the way and 3 leaves total. I'm very happy with my purchase. Definitely worth the splurge. I got the XL Pallidiflorum which did not disappoint.
