Anthurium papillilaminum is a rare velvet-leaf Anthurium native to Panama, admired for its elongated, heart-shaped leaves with a velvety dark green surface and bold venation. Some forms display deep red or violet undersides, adding dramatic contrast. Known for its sculptural presence, papillilaminum is a cornerstone species in velvet-leaf collections and is frequently used in hybridization due to its distinctive traits.
